How secure is my data

My ID Card runs on Amazon Web Services Cloud Server. For your own security, as well as for our customers, we also offer 2-Factor Authentication.

Security

From login to lockout and beyond

Trust is a core value of My ID Card, so we take protecting your data really seriously. We use the same level of encryption standards and industry-leading technology that banks use to manage the security and integrity of your personal data

Secure and highly reliable infrastructure.
Our infrastructure underpins our robust web environment

My ID Card runs on Amazon Web Services technology which is backed by AWS’s 99.99% uptime service level agreements, so you can be sure you’ll always be able to access your data, whenever you need it. Amazon’s data centre operations have been accredited under:

  • ISO 27001
  • PCI Level 1
Multiple firewalls.
We have layers of multiple fire walls to control access

We use firewalls to restrict access and protect your data from unauthorised access. Our servers are only available to senior My ID Card Programmers, and we log and track all system access for auditing purposes. And with a continuously patched OS, you can be certain that the latest security patches are applied.

Backups and recoverability.
We operate under industry standard best practices for safe backups and ease of recoverability

Your data is stored on our protected data servers, rather than our own computers. Our servers are located within enterprise-grade hosting facilities. SSL encryption is required when connecting to them to ensure a high level of security and privacy.

Our Promise.
My ID Card recognises that employee data includes highly personal and easily identifiable information.

My ID Card will NEVER sell your data to third parties. My ID Card will occasionally send updates on offers available to users on our Website, which exists within the My ID Card platform as part of our customer benefits offering. Suppliers to My ID Card do not have access to any user data.

Secure Delivery.

All issued My ID Cards encoded with personal information will be supplied and shipped in a RFID blocking sleeve which is designed to protect the information from being obtained without authorisation.
